ILYA VAREGIN - SERBIA

“Ilya Varegin is a fashion designer and independent artist working in the field of conceptual menswear. 

Born in Turkmenistan and raised in Moscow, he began his practice in 2008 creating historical costumes for theatre, cinema, museums, and reenactment projects. In 2014, he graduated with honors from the British Higher School of Art and Design and founded his first brand, Infundibulum.

His work is rooted in the study of traditional craftsmanship and rustic clothing. Drawing inspiration from peasant artisan tailors, he explores intuitive construction methods, material sensitivity, and the transformation of traditional forms into a contemporary fashion language.

Since 2022, he is based in Novi Sad, Serbia, where he founded the brand KOROB KOROB, focusing on independent projects, exhibitions, and international collaborations.”
