Aurea Fibras Nativas is an Argentinian brand dedicated to promoting and producing handwoven textiles, made by indigenous and local communities, from fibres and techniques native to the land.

“In Aurea Fibras Nativas, we work with indigenous and traditional farming communities, from all over remote rural areas of Argentina. We look to consolidate direct and lasting ties with their artisans and their communities, based on a shared sense of solidarity, trust, transparency and mutual respect. Contributing to their market access, reinforcing producers, and ensuring a continuing an just compensation in order to create positive social impact in their local economy.

We focus on the recovery and nurturing of artisan craft practices as a means of expression and cultural dialogue of our oldest communities. Acting as a link between producers and those conscious consumers that value artisan craft as a window into different worlds. We take great care to generate sustainable exchanges, with guarantees of origin, total supply chain traceability, and falling within the regulation of fair trade. Hoping to push forward conscience about the origins of the products we consume, and the value of the people behind them.”
