Gourab Ganguli - INDIA
"Born in Kolkata, and now a resident of Jaipur and Mumbai, Gourab Ganguli, is an Indian fashion photographer, creative director and documentary film-maker (currently represented by The Artist's Project) with a shared love for the world of Indian handicrafts and cinema.
Having studied film-making at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Gourab has forged his identity as a storyteller across years of working as a photographer and communication designer with several luxury and sustainable home-grown brands. His works have also been published in a wide range of home-grown and international publications.
His first documentary film titled 'The Turban Weavers of Bhujodi' which explored the life and craft of turban weavers based out of Kutchh, India, had its international premiere at the 2022 edition of XTANT."
