EVENT FLOOR INTRODUCTIONS | 05.03.25

Hello again!

All is better than usual here in the office, Madrid is seeing a full week of rainy days! To those of you in less dry climes that might seem normal, but for us its a godsend.

As we progress closer and closer to the event opening, we’ve been scouring our brains to find ways to convey the ‘feel’ of the event, lets say.

And, as its exhibitions are collections of beautiful works lined up between the light walls of a sandstone palace, so too will this letter.

A collection of five artists and artisans who are joining us for the first time in Mallorca. We’d do more but the maximum space for an E-mail doesn’t allow it.

THIS AND THAT

A designer of renown Ariane Thakore, brought together master woodworking, handwoven upholstery and beautifully patterned geometric designs from Assam (in the north-east corner of India) to create the pieces that would make up her 2024 Aagor Collection.

Her work is generally stunning

MORAYO OSSÊ

Having taken the trip from Paris back to her mother’s-land of Cotonou, Benin. Morayo Ossê has returned to the land of her roots in search of a new understanding of fashion with the colours, fibres and labours Indigenous to this ancient nation.

A fresh, minimal yet versatile collection beautifully crafted with loving, minute attention to its every process.

SALLY BALDWIN

Sally Baldwin is an English textile artist that has been working in the fashion industry since the 1980s

Now dedicated to her artistic installations, she painstakingly creates these two or three dimensional works, moulding them from silk fibres into dainty, beautifully fragile forms.

BOITO

Such a good picture…

Bringing luxury works from traditional practices in Odisha (Eastern India, formerly the province of Orissa) Boito preserves and re-contextualizes the ancient textiles of the region in colourful, sleek attire.

NEHA LAD STUDIO

And back to where we began! NEHA LAD STUDIO is a French color and material… studio, dedicated and focused on artistry and the use of color in design projects or works around the globe.

From galleries to data analysis firms, to car companies like Renault and Peugeot, and everything in between.
